Area 8 Functions

Area Meetings

Members are required to attend at least one meeting per month based on the monthly schedule to be eligible for post season.

Meetings are used to present business items for the area, training sessions, situational developments, guest speakers, elections and a host of other activities take place.  It is also a great time to meet and socialize with your fellow officials.

Denver Area 8 has three meeting locations:

• Overland High School – Aurora
• Thornton High School -Thornton
• Sheridan High School -Denver
• Denver Lutheran – Denver (Sunday Meetings Only)

• All meetings start at 7:00 pm

New Officials Classes: All take place at Denver Lutheran High School, 7:00 pm

Prior to the Sunday meeting at Lutheran High School

January 17th & February 7th (cancelled),  5:30 pm

Another class will be held this Spring prior to camps.

Playoff/Post Season Acceptance!

Be sure and mark your availability for Post Season on your Arbiter Account by January 30th.

Required that you: 1) pass Federation Test by 90% 2) officiate at least 2 sub varsity games 3) 20% or at least 6 girls games 4) make all your meeting requirements 5) have 2 years patched certification 6) attend Master Clinic at least every other year 7)be in good standing with your Area.

Balloting for Post Season Due by February 12th!

Get them in as the price only goes UP after that date!
