Camp Info for 2010
Last modified: February 22, 2010The Directors of Area 8 are excited to announce the 2nd annual Area 8 Basketball Referee Development Camp. The camp will be held at Metro State College. Dates of the camp will be May 28th, 29th and 30th 2010.

The purpose of camp is to offer the members of Area 8 an opportunity to receive training and education in a variety of officiating areas. Topics to be covered and taught in the camp are proper mechanics, game management, communication with partners/coaches and much more. There also will be a heavy emphasis on teaching 3 person mechanics/rotations.
To assist in the teaching process, games will be videotaped and a detailed breakdown of game tape will be done.
The camp is designed to offer something to every official regardless of your level of officiating.
A camp social will be held following Friday’s classroom session. Place and time T.B.D.
